The short answer is simple. You don’t need any experience, and you’ll be guided through the entire process.
No Experience Needed
Most people who walk into our classes have never customized sneakers before.
At NVRSTK Studios, we walk you through every step:
- choosing or building your design
- prepping the sneaker properly
- applying paint, stencils, or materials
- sealing and finishing your pair
The structure is designed so you can follow along and still make something that feels personal.
What the Class Looks Like
Each class is structured to make sure you leave with a finished pair.
You can expect:
- a quick introduction and setup
- time to plan your design
- step-by-step guidance through the process
- hands-on work for the majority of the session
- drying and finishing time
You’re not rushing through it, but you’re also not left guessing.
What You’ll Walk Out With
This is not a half-finished project.
By the end of the class, you’ll leave with:
- a completed pair of sneakers
- something wearable
- something you created yourself
Every pair comes out different, which is part of the experience.
What You Need to Bring
You’ll need to bring your own sneakers.
We recommend:
- a clean pair
- leather material for best results
Everything else is provided in the studio.
Booking Your Class
Classes run throughout the week and are scheduled in advance.
